The Farm belongs to Tomar, this Templar city, former headquarters of the Order of the Templars, full of artistic and cultural wealth and mysteries.
Currently, there are those who claim that Quinta São José dos Montes may hold the key to the Holy Grail, hence the growing demand for mystics and explorers who pass through this space.
The lake of this dam extends over 60km2, one of the largest lakes in Europe, in a landscape between valleys, mountains, pine forests, and realities of great natural beauty, bringing together excellent conditions for carrying out nautical, leisure and tourist activities.
This Farm’s tourism consists of different types of accommodation from Rural Tourism, Residential Tourism, through Hostel, Glamping and Camping.
Rural Tourism
The Rural Tourism has four apartments with kitchenette, which surround the pool area, as well as the rooms in the Main House with stunning views of the hills.
Residential Tourism
The Residential Tourism is located in the Quinta’s Main House, and consists of four rooms with private bathrooms, as well as a dining room and kitchen access to the rooms where you can freely use and enjoy the breathtaking views.
Hostel
The Hostel consists of several bedrooms in the same area as the Main House, where you can enjoy the magnificent gardens and its centuries-old trees.
Glamping
Glamping, which serves an audience with a special taste and sensitivity for Nature, consists of five Yurts, the well-known Mongolian Tents, with a wooden house and ecological dry toilets. There are also 5 Domes with private toilets. Right next to these Yurts is the big Geodesic Dome with views over the lake, for the events that take place regularly. Further ahead, the farm has 11 Bell Tents with ecological bathrooms, in a privileged space also with views over the lake.
Camping
The Camping is located right after the Dome and ends with stunning views over the lake. It has a capacity for 100 people, with several ecological dry toilets and hot water showers.
