DESCRIPTION:\nEcstatic Dance has been practiced throughout history, since classical times, by the Greek maenads, followers of the god Dionysus, in the practice of shamanism, together with rhythmic drums are used to access non-ordinary states of consciousness within spiritual practices. And in many other traditions we have evidence of this practice.\nGabrielle Roth, founder of 5Rythms, was one of the pioneers to recreate this movement in the 70s of the last century.
